Kitchen Fire Evacuation Guidelines
In the case of a fire evacuation please be aware of the following procedures
When the fire alarm sounds
- If you are not in your department evacuate via the nearest exit taking with you any guest you meet
- Stop serving IMMEDIATELY
- Turn off all ovens, grills, fryers and all electrical equipment especially the intake extractor fans
- Gas will shut off automatically as soon as electric fire siren will sound
- Take your departmental rota and leave by the nearest, safest fire exit
- Close all doors behind you
- Report to the fire assembly point at the back of the hotel outside the guest car park
